Pedro Coloma Valenzuela is a Chilean-born composer focused on acoustic and electronic instrumental music, with an interest in sound itself. Now based in the Netherlands, where he obtained his degree in Music Composition for Film and Theatre, he has been working on various European projects while independently exploring his own sound.

Inspired by multiple artists and composers across many genres and eras - like J.S.Bach, Dmitri Shostakovich, Thom Yorke, Yann Tiersen and Alva Noto, among others - he creatively searches different ways to express and resonate with the project’s main message, whether it is a film, or an autonomous piece.

In addition to working independently, Pedro is also working with award-winning composer Hans Michael Anselmo Hess, mostly assisting him with mixing and mastering.

He has also been commissioned to write music for Dutch carillon players.
