Pedro Coloma Valenzuela is a Chilean-born composer and artist focused on acoustic and electronic instrumental music, with an interest in sound itself. Now based in the Netherlands, where he obtained his degree in Music Composition for Film and Theatre, he has been working on various European projects while independently exploring his own sound.

Inspired by multiple artists and composers across many genres and eras - like J.S.Bach, Dmitri Shostakovich, Thom Yorke, Yann Tiersen, and Alva Noto, among others - he creatively searches for different ways to express and resonate with the project’s main message, whether it is a film or an autonomous piece.

He has also been commissioned to write music for Dutch carillon players.

Besides music, Pedro also explores the world of visual arts such as photography and moving image, focusing on interdisciplinary works (audiovisual).
